Westhaven is the premier surfing location in Washington state.
The park is about 80 acres with about 1,200 feet of ocean frontage and has a good sized parking lot with 132 spaces and seven RV sites. The rock jetty creates waves and sand dunes that make this park a destination. Summer surfing has smaller waves and water temperatures don’t really get above 60F , so a wet suit is recommended all year. Visit during the other seasons for the bigger swells. Half moon bay is where you will find a great place for fishing and crabbing.
Activities at the park include walking the boardwalk to Westport Light State Park, just 1.3 miles away, fishing, clamming, crabbing, horseback riding, surfing, kite flying, scuba diving, and beach combing.
Restroom with outside showers are available.
