Twin Harbors State Park

Twin Harbors State Park

This is a huge park (about 270 acres) that has tons of camping (250+ sites) and gets pretty busy during the summer, but they do accept reservations in the summer. Check with the park if your going between Nov 1st and March 1st, to make sure they are open. This park has a neat Nature Trail called Shifting Sands which help visitors learn about the beach habitat. Campgrounds on the west side of hwy 105 are closer to the beach but it is easy enough to drive down Schafer Road for beach access. The beach offers all the fun of the near by beaches with 3400ft of shoreline its easy enough to get your own spot. Kite flying, beach combing, on shore fishing, horse back riding are all on the menu when visiting Westport, WA. You can even rent a Yurt if you are worried about weather or don’t want to set up a tent or RV.
